The Michigan Local Government Management Association had its 2012 Winter Institute in East Lansing this week under the theme “Coaching a New Season.” The organization represents executives from Michigan’s cities, villages, counties and townships and this year’s winter seminar drew more than 200 officials. At the conclusion of the conference MLGMA selected Wyoming City Manager Curtis Holt as its 2012 President. He succeeds Farmington Hills City Manager Steven Brock, who was the 2011 President.
